The NOVA Gavel Unit of Parliamentarians is a nonprofit organization established on August 14, 2024 by Alicia Campbell, Terri Cochran, Donna Simpson, Suzanne Volpe, and April Wiggs; to promote the study of parliamentary procedure and the educational programs of the National Association of Parliamentarians to all who are interested in learning the principles underlying Robert's Rules of Order and the rules of parliamentary procedure for effective business meetings. We are located in Loudoun County Virginia.

The NOVA Gavel Unit of Parliamentarians is a unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians (NAP) and a part of District Two of the Virginia State Association of Parliamentarians (VSAP). 

The unit members meet on the second Wednesday in January, March, May, September, and November at 7:00 pm.
